What does it mean to have a relationship to a land that you don't live in? Why do different generations seem to relate to Israel differently? What are the historical origins of the conflict? Join us as we explore these questions and more in a series dedicated to understanding the land of Israel. We'll delve into philosophies of self-determination, the meanings behind symbols of identity and sovereignty, the history and archaeology of the land and the themes of diaspora and exile. This series will offer opportunities for individual, paired, and group reflection, fostering empathy while building a solid foundation of knowledge about the region and its complexities.
